जृंभः षष्ठोनुजस्तेषां स्मृताः प्रह्रादसूनवः । शुंभश्चैव निशुंभश्च गवेष्ठिनः सुतौ स्मृतौ
jṛṃbhaḥ ṣaṣṭhonujasteṣāṃ smṛtāḥ prahrādasūnavaḥ | śuṃbhaścaiva niśuṃbhaśca gaveṣṭhinaḥ sutau smṛtau
তাদের মধ্যে জৃম্ভ ষষ্ঠ কনিষ্ঠ ভ্রাতা বলে স্মৃত; তারা প্রহ্লাদের পুত্র বলে কথিত। আর শুম্ভ ও নিশুম্ভ গবেষ্ঠীর পুত্র বলে স্মরণীয়।
