आकाशे प्रक्षिपेद्वापि स्थितो वा दक्षिणामुखः । पितॄणां स्थानमाकाशं दक्षिणा चैव दिक्तथा
ākāśe prakṣipedvāpi sthito vā dakṣiṇāmukhaḥ | pitṝṇāṃ sthānamākāśaṃ dakṣiṇā caiva diktathā
আকাশের দিকেও অর্ঘ্য/পিণ্ড নিক্ষেপ করা যায়, অথবা দক্ষিণমুখে দাঁড়িয়েও দেওয়া যায়। পিতৃদের নিবাস আকাশ, আর দক্ষিণ দিকও তাঁদেরই দিক।
