Transliteration

sarvaduḥkhapraśamanī sarvaśatrukṣayaṃkarī | pūjanīyā vidhānena kṛṣṇāṣṭamyāṃ mahāniśi | gandhaiḥ puṣpaistathā dhūpaiḥ kravyairbalibhireva ca

Translation

যিনি সকল দুঃখ প্রশমিত করেন ও সকল শত্রুর ক্ষয় সাধন করেন, তাঁকে কৃষ্ণপক্ষের অষ্টমীর মহানিশায় বিধিমতে পূজা করা উচিত—গন্ধ, পুষ্প, ধূপ, ক্রব্য-নৈবেদ্য ও বলি-উপহারে।
