तं दृष्ट्वा व्याधिना मर्त्यो पीड्यते न कदाचन । नान्धो न बधिरो मूको न रोगी न च निर्धनः । कदाचिज्जायते मर्त्यस्तेन दृष्टेन भूतले
taṃ dṛṣṭvā vyādhinā martyo pīḍyate na kadācana | nāndho na badhiro mūko na rogī na ca nirdhanaḥ | kadācijjāyate martyastena dṛṣṭena bhūtale
তাঁকে (সেই পবিত্র স্থানের শিবকে) দর্শন করলে কোনো মর্ত্য আর কখনও ব্যাধিতে পীড়িত হয় না। যিনি তাঁকে দেখেছেন, তিনি এ পৃথিবীতে কখনও অন্ধ, বধির, মূক, রোগী বা দরিদ্র হয়ে জন্মান না।
