ये ब्राह्मणाः सोऽहमसंशयं प्रिये तेष्वर्चितेष्वर्चितोऽहं भवेयम् । तेष्वेव तुष्टेष्वहमेव तुष्टो वैरं च तैर्यस्य ममापि वैरम्
ye brāhmaṇāḥ so'hamasaṃśayaṃ priye teṣvarciteṣvarcito'haṃ bhaveyam | teṣveva tuṣṭeṣvahameva tuṣṭo vairaṃ ca tairyasya mamāpi vairam
হে প্রিয়ে! সেই ব্রাহ্মণগণই নিঃসন্দেহে আমি। তাঁদের সম্মানিত করলে আমিই সম্মানিত হই; তাঁরা তুষ্ট হলে আমিও তুষ্ট হই। আর যে তাঁদের সঙ্গে বৈর রাখে, সে আমার সঙ্গেও বৈর রাখে।
