श्रीभगवानुवाच । पराधीनोऽस्मि विप्रेन्द्र भक्त्या क्रीतोऽस्मि नान्यथा । बलेरादेशकारी च दैत्येन्द्रवशगो ह्यहम्

শ্রীভগবান বললেন—হে বিপ্রশ্রেষ্ঠ, আমি ভক্তের অধীন; ভক্তিতেই আমি ক্রয়িত, অন্যথা নয়। আমি বলির আদেশ পালন করি, কারণ নিজের ব্রতে আমি দৈত্যেন্দ্রের বশে আছি।
