ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । पितृमेधेन राजेंद्र कृतेन विधिपूर्वकम् । निरयस्था दिवं यांति यद्यपि स्युः सुपापिनः
brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | pitṛmedhena rājeṃdra kṛtena vidhipūrvakam | nirayasthā divaṃ yāṃti yadyapi syuḥ supāpinaḥ
ব্রাহ্মণগণ বললেন—হে রাজেন্দ্র! বিধিপূর্বক সম্পন্ন পিতৃমেধের প্রভাবে নরকে অবস্থানকারী পিতৃগণও স্বর্গে গমন করেন, যদিও তাঁরা মহাপাপী হন।
