अथागत्य द्रुतं दूराद्बालेनानेन वंदिताः । दीर्घायुर्भव संदिष्टस्ततश्चायमनेकधा । पंचमे दिवसेऽस्यापि मृत्युर्देव भविष्यति
athāgatya drutaṃ dūrādbālenānena vaṃditāḥ | dīrghāyurbhava saṃdiṣṭastataścāyamanekadhā | paṃcame divase'syāpi mṛtyurdeva bhaviṣyati
তারপর দূর থেকে দ্রুত এসে এই বালক আমাদের প্রণাম করল। আমরা তাকে ‘দীর্ঘায়ু হও’ বলে আশীর্বাদ দিলাম; সে তা নানা ভাবে পুনরুক্ত করল। কিন্তু হে দেব, তারও পঞ্চম দিনে মৃত্যু ঘটবে।
