ब्रह्मोवाच । मम स्पर्धा समुत्पन्ना विष्णुना सह शोभने । लिंगस्यास्य हि पर्यंतं यो लभिष्यति चावयोः
brahmovāca | mama spardhā samutpannā viṣṇunā saha śobhane | liṃgasyāsya hi paryaṃtaṃ yo labhiṣyati cāvayoḥ
ব্রহ্মা বললেন—হে শোভনে! আমার ও বিষ্ণুর মধ্যে প্রতিযোগিতা জাগল—আমাদের দু’জনের মধ্যে যে এই লিঙ্গের সীমা পাবে, সেই শ্রেষ্ঠ বলে গণ্য হবে।
