एते च वांछते नित्यं तक्षको द्विज कुण्डले । स तथेति समादाय विस्मयोत्फुल्ललोचनः । कौतुकात्पुनरागत्य राजानं वाक्यमब्रवीत्
ete ca vāṃchate nityaṃ takṣako dvija kuṇḍale | sa tatheti samādāya vismayotphullalocanaḥ | kautukātpunarāgatya rājānaṃ vākyamabravīt
“হে দ্বিজ, তক্ষক নাগ সর্বদা এই কুণ্ডল দুটির আকাঙ্ক্ষা করে।” ‘তথাস্তु’ বলে সে তা গ্রহণ করল; বিস্ময়ে তার চোখ প্রসারিত হল। তারপর কৌতূহলে ফিরে এসে সে রাজাকে এই কথা বলল।
