चितिं कृत्वा समं तेन ज्वालयामास पावकम् । अथ ते मुनयो दृष्ट्वा तथाशीलां शुभांगनाम्
citiṃ kṛtvā samaṃ tena jvālayāmāsa pāvakam | atha te munayo dṛṣṭvā tathāśīlāṃ śubhāṃganām
তাঁর সমান চিতা নির্মাণ করে তিনি অগ্নি প্রজ্বালিত করলেন। তখন সেই মুনিগণ এমন দৃঢ়শীলা শুভাঙ্গিনীকে দেখে উদ্বিগ্নচিত্তে তাকিয়ে রইলেন।
