एवं तस्य व्रतस्थस्य जग्मुर्वर्षशतानि च । तत्र भीतास्ततो देवा ब्रह्मविष्णुपुरःसराः
evaṃ tasya vratasthasya jagmurvarṣaśatāni ca | tatra bhītāstato devā brahmaviṣṇupuraḥsarāḥ
এইভাবে ব্রতস্থ অবস্থায় তার শত শত বছর অতিবাহিত হল। তখন ব্রহ্মা ও বিষ্ণুর নেতৃত্বে দেবগণ সেই তপস্যায় ভীত হয়ে পড়লেন।
