परं तस्य वधाज्जाता ब्रह्महत्या सुगर्हिता । तव शक्र न तेनाद्य स्पृशामोऽस्पृश्यतां गतम्
paraṃ tasya vadhājjātā brahmahatyā sugarhitā | tava śakra na tenādya spṛśāmo'spṛśyatāṃ gatam
“কিন্তু তার বধের ফলে, হে শক্র, তোমার উপর অত্যন্ত নিন্দিত ব্রহ্মহত্যার পাপ জন্মেছে। সেই কারণেই আজ আমরা তোমাকে স্পর্শ করি না; তুমি অশুচি-অস্পৃশ্য অবস্থায় পতিত হয়েছ।”
