उवाच व्यर्थः शापोऽयं तव दत्तो मया नृप । न च मे जायते वाक्यमसत्यं हि कथंचन

Transliteration

uvāca vyarthaḥ śāpo'yaṃ tava datto mayā nṛpa | na ca me jāyate vākyamasatyaṃ hi kathaṃcana

Translation

তিনি বললেন—হে নৃপ! আমার প্রদত্ত এই শাপটি বৃথাই প্রমাণিত হয়েছে। তবু আমার মুখ থেকে কোনোভাবেই অসত্য বাক্য উদ্ভূত হয় না।
