तथान्या धेनवो याश्च संस्थिता गोकुलांतिके । शृण्वंतु वचनं मह्यं कुर्वंतु च ततः परम् । अद्याहं निजयूथस्य भ्रमंती नातिदूरतः
tathānyā dhenavo yāśca saṃsthitā gokulāṃtike | śṛṇvaṃtu vacanaṃ mahyaṃ kurvaṃtu ca tataḥ param | adyāhaṃ nijayūthasya bhramaṃtī nātidūrataḥ
‘তেমনি গোকুলের নিকটে যে অন্য ধেনুগুলি আছে, তারা আমার কথা শুনুক এবং তদনুযায়ী করুক। আজ আমি নিজের পাল থেকে খুব দূরে বিচরণ করব না।’
