एषोऽरुणकरस्पर्शात्स्वाभां त्यजति चंद्रमाः । निशाक्षये निरुत्साहो यथाहं विधिना कृतः

Transliteration

eṣo'ruṇakarasparśātsvābhāṃ tyajati caṃdramāḥ | niśākṣaye nirutsāho yathāhaṃ vidhinā kṛtaḥ

Translation

উষার কিরণের স্পর্শে চন্দ্র নিজ জ্যোতি ত্যাগ করে; তেমনি রাত্রি ক্ষয় হলে আমিও নিরুৎসাহ হই—বিধির বিধানে এমনই আমি গঠিত।
