सूत उवाच । तस्य तं निश्चयं ज्ञात्वा स पिता सुतवत्सलः । सर्वस्वं प्रददौ रुष्टो मरणे कृतनिश्चयः
sūta uvāca | tasya taṃ niścayaṃ jñātvā sa pitā sutavatsalaḥ | sarvasvaṃ pradadau ruṣṭo maraṇe kṛtaniścayaḥ
সূত বললেন—তার সেই দৃঢ় সংকল্প জেনে, পুত্রস্নেহী পিতা ক্রুদ্ধ হয়ে মৃত্যুর স্থির সিদ্ধান্ত করে নিজের সর্বস্ব দান করে দিলেন।
