भीष्म उवाच । गंगायामस्थिपातोऽत्र येषां संजायते नृणाम् । न तेषां नारको वह्निः प्रभवेन्मध्यवर्तिनाम्
bhīṣma uvāca | gaṃgāyāmasthipāto'tra yeṣāṃ saṃjāyate nṛṇām | na teṣāṃ nārako vahniḥ prabhavenmadhyavartinām
ভীষ্ম বললেন—এখানে গঙ্গায় যাদের অস্থি বিসর্জন হয়, তাদের উপর নরকের অগ্নি প্রভাব ফেলতে পারে না—যদিও তারা মধ্যবর্তী দুঃখভোগের যোগ্য হোক।
