शुक्लपक्षं समासाद्य तारापतिरिवांबरे । वर्धमानस्य तस्यैवमतीताः पंच वत्सराः । बालक्रीडाप्रसक्तस्य पितुरुत्सङ्गवर्तिनः
śuklapakṣaṃ samāsādya tārāpatirivāṃbare | vardhamānasya tasyaivamatītāḥ paṃca vatsarāḥ | bālakrīḍāprasaktasya piturutsaṅgavartinaḥ
যেমন আকাশে তারাপতির ন্যায় শুক্লপক্ষ বৃদ্ধি পায়, তেমনি সেই বালকও বেড়ে উঠল। এভাবে বেড়ে উঠতে উঠতে পাঁচ বছর কেটে গেল—সে শিশুখেলায় মগ্ন, পিতার কোলেই থাকত।
