विश्वामित्र उवाच । तस्य तं निश्चयं ज्ञात्वा शस्त्रमादाय निर्मलम् । चकर्ताथ भुजौ तस्य भ्राता भ्रातुश्च निर्घृणः । सोपि च्छिन्नकरो विप्रो व्यथयापि समन्वितः
viśvāmitra uvāca | tasya taṃ niścayaṃ jñātvā śastramādāya nirmalam | cakartātha bhujau tasya bhrātā bhrātuśca nirghṛṇaḥ | sopi cchinnakaro vipro vyathayāpi samanvitaḥ
বিশ্বামিত্র বললেন—তার দৃঢ় সংকল্প জেনে, তার ভাই নির্মল অস্ত্র হাতে নিয়ে, নিজের ভাইয়ের প্রতিও নির্দয় হয়ে, তার দুই বাহু কেটে দিল; সেই ব্রাহ্মণও কর্তিত হাতে যন্ত্রণায় পরিপূর্ণ হল।
