Skanda (deduced; addressing dvijas)
Type: ghat
Scene: A pilgrim performs śrāddha at a sacred spot with humble means: one savory dish and a single grain offering; pitṛs appear subtly in the background receiving satisfaction, while a symbolic banner reads ‘Gayā-tulya’ (Gayā-equivalent merit).
Faith (śraddhā) sanctifies even simple offerings; at a powerful tīrtha, minimal materials can yield maximum ancestral merit.
A tīrtha within Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya is praised as conferring merit comparable to Gayā for śrāddha.
Performing śrāddha there with proper faith, even using only one prepared dish and one grain offering.
