तेनैव यजता तत्र को हीष्टः प्रब्रवीहि नः । ऋत्विजः के स्थितास्तत्र यैस्तत्कर्म मखोद्भवम् । तत्प्रत्यक्षे कृतं सर्वमेतन्नः कौतुकं परम्
tenaiva yajatā tatra ko hīṣṭaḥ prabravīhi naḥ | ṛtvijaḥ ke sthitāstatra yaistatkarma makhodbhavam | tatpratyakṣe kṛtaṃ sarvametannaḥ kautukaṃ param
তিনি নিজে সেখানে যজ্ঞ করছিলেন—তখন প্রধানত কোন দেবতার পূজা হয়েছিল? আমাদের বলুন। সেখানে কোন কোন ঋত্বিজ উপস্থিত ছিলেন, যাঁদের দ্বারা মখ-উদ্ভূত সেই যজ্ঞকর্ম সম্পন্ন হয়েছিল? সবই তাঁদের প্রত্যক্ষের সামনে ঘটেছিল—এটাই আমাদের পরম বিস্ময়।
