श्रीभगवानुवाच । एतद्रूपं मया शक्र कृतं तस्य वधाय वै । अवध्यः सर्वभूतानां यतोन्येषां मया हतः
śrībhagavānuvāca | etadrūpaṃ mayā śakra kṛtaṃ tasya vadhāya vai | avadhyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ yatonyeṣāṃ mayā hataḥ
ভগবান বললেন—হে শক্র! তার বধের জন্যই আমি এই রূপ ধারণ করেছি; সে সকল জীবের কাছে অবধ্য ছিল, তাই অন্য কেউ নয়—আমিই তাকে বধ করেছি।
