tatra snātvā pitṝṃstarpya ratnadīpaṃ pradāya ca | samastaṃ kārtikaṃ yāvadayodhyāṃ prasthitāstataḥ

সেখানে স্নান করে, পিতৃদের তर्पণ করে এবং রত্নদীপ দান করে, তারা তারপর সমগ্র কার্তিককাল (ব্রত/বাস) পালন করে অযোধ্যার উদ্দেশে যাত্রা করে।
