na mālatī na maṃdāraḥ śatapatraṃ na mallikā | tathā priyāṇi śrīvṛkṣo yathā madanavidviṣaḥ

মালতী নয়, মন্দার নয়, শতপত্র পদ্ম নয়, মল্লিকাও নয়—মদনবিদ্বেষী শিবের কাছে শ্রীবৃক্ষ (বিল্ব) যত প্রিয়, তত আর কিছুই নয়।
