अष्टादशाहेन हता ये च द्रोणवृषादयः । दुर्योधने हते क्रूरे अष्टादशदिनात्यये
aṣṭādaśāhena hatā ye ca droṇavṛṣādayaḥ | duryodhane hate krūre aṣṭādaśadinātyaye
দ্রোণ, বৃষ প্রভৃতি যাঁরা ছিলেন, তাঁরা আঠারো দিনের মধ্যেই নিহত হলেন। আর নিষ্ঠুর দুর্যোধন নিহত হলে—আঠারো দিনের পরিসমাপ্তিতে—(যুদ্ধের অবসান হল)।
