यद्येतद्व्यत्ययं कुर्यां भस्मीभूयां ततः क्षणम् । एवं ब्रुवाणां तां वीरो निगृह्य शपथैर्दृढम्
yadyetadvyatyayaṃ kuryāṃ bhasmībhūyāṃ tataḥ kṣaṇam | evaṃ bruvāṇāṃ tāṃ vīro nigṛhya śapathairdṛḍham
যদি আমি এতে ব্যত্যয় করি, তবে সেই ক্ষণেই ভস্মীভূত হই। এভাবে বলতে বলতে, বীরটি তাকে দৃঢ় শপথে আবদ্ধ করে কঠোরভাবে নিবৃত্ত করল।
