चिरं पृच्छेच्च श्रृणुयाच्चिरं न परिभूयते । धर्मे शत्रौ शस्त्रहस्ते पात्रे च निकटस्थिते
ciraṃ pṛcchecca śrṛṇuyācciraṃ na paribhūyate | dharme śatrau śastrahaste pātre ca nikaṭasthite
দীর্ঘকাল জিজ্ঞাসা করুক এবং দীর্ঘকাল শুনুক—তবে সহজে পরাভূত হয় না; কিন্তু ধর্মকার্যে, শত্রুর সম্মুখে, হাতে অস্ত্র থাকলে, এবং যোগ্য পাত্র নিকটে উপস্থিত থাকলে—বিলম্ব করা উচিত নয়।
