अन्तःक्षुरा वाङ्मधुराः कूपाश्धन्नास्तृणौरिव । कुर्वते ये बहून्मार्गांस्तांस्तान्हेतुबलन्विताः
antaḥkṣurā vāṅmadhurāḥ kūpāśdhannāstṛṇauriva | kurvate ye bahūnmārgāṃstāṃstānhetubalanvitāḥ
অন্তরে তারা ক্ষুরের মতো ধারালো, কিন্তু বাক্যে মধুর; যেন ঘাসে ঢাকা কূপ। যারা বহু (প্রতারণাময়) পথ রচনা করে, তারা যুক্তি ও বলের আশ্রয়ে একে একে তা করে।
