कृशोतीव गलत्कुष्ठी प्रमुह्यंश्च पदेपेद । नंदभद्रमुवाचेदं कृच्छ्रात्संस्तभ्य बालकः
kṛśotīva galatkuṣṭhī pramuhyaṃśca padepeda | naṃdabhadramuvācedaṃ kṛcchrātsaṃstabhya bālakaḥ
বালকটি অত্যন্ত কৃশ, কুষ্ঠ ক্ষয়ে ঝরছিল, আর প্রতি পদক্ষেপে মূর্ছিত হচ্ছিল; কষ্টে নিজেকে সামলে সে নন্দভদ্রকে এই কথা বলল।
