स सदा नंदभद्रस्य विलोकयति चांतरम् । छिद्रं चेदस्य पश्यामि ततो धर्मान्निवर्तये
sa sadā naṃdabhadrasya vilokayati cāṃtaram | chidraṃ cedasya paśyāmi tato dharmānnivartaye
সে সর্বদা নন্দভদ্রের অন্তর ও আচরণ লক্ষ্য করে ত্রুটি খুঁজত। ‘যদি তার মধ্যে একটিও ফাঁক দেখি, তবে তাকে ধর্ম থেকে ফিরিয়ে দেব’—এমনই সে ভাবত।
