आपो वस्त्रं तिलास्तैलं गंधो वा स यथा तथा । पुष्पाणामधिवासेन तथा संसर्गजा गुणाः
āpo vastraṃ tilāstailaṃ gaṃdho vā sa yathā tathā | puṣpāṇāmadhivāsena tathā saṃsargajā guṇāḥ
জল, বস্ত্র, তিল, তেল বা সুগন্ধ—যেমন যে-যে বস্তুতে ভিজে/মিশে তেমনই রূপ পায়; তেমনি সঙ্গের দ্বারা গুণের উদ্ভব হয়।
