प्रत्यग्निं प्रति सूर्यं च प्रति गां व्रतिनं प्रति । प्रति सोमोदकं सन्ध्यां प्रज्ञा नश्यति मेहतः
pratyagniṃ prati sūryaṃ ca prati gāṃ vratinaṃ prati | prati somodakaṃ sandhyāṃ prajñā naśyati mehataḥ
যে পবিত্র অগ্নি, সূর্য, গাভী, ব্রতধারী, সোমোদক বা সন্ধ্যোপাসনার দিকে মুখ করে মূত্রত্যাগ করে, তার বিবেক-বুদ্ধি নষ্ট হয়—এমনই বলা হয়েছে।
