जनस्तपस्तथा सत्यमिति चाकृतकं त्रयम् । कृतकाकृतयोर्मध्ये मर्हर्लोक इति स्मृतः
janastapastathā satyamiti cākṛtakaṃ trayam | kṛtakākṛtayormadhye marharloka iti smṛtaḥ
‘জন, তপ ও সত্য’—এই ত্রয়কেও ‘অকৃতক’ (অ-রচিত) লোক বলা হয়। কৃতক ও অকৃতকের মধ্যবর্তী লোক ‘মহর্লোক’ বলে স্মৃত।
