ततो रात्रिः क्षयं याति वर्धते तु दिनं दिनम् । ततश्च मिथुनस्यांते परां काष्ठामुपागतः
tato rātriḥ kṣayaṃ yāti vardhate tu dinaṃ dinam | tataśca mithunasyāṃte parāṃ kāṣṭhāmupāgataḥ
এরপর রাত্রি ক্ষয় পেতে থাকে এবং দিন দিন করে বৃদ্ধি পায়। তারপর মিথুনের অন্তে তিনি পরম কাষ্ঠায় পৌঁছান—অর্থাৎ উত্তরগতির সর্বোচ্চ সীমায় উপনীত হন।
