वीरं हि पुरुषं हत्वा गोसहस्रेण मुच्यते । यथाकथंचित्पुरुषो न हंतव्यस्ततो बुधैः
vīraṃ hi puruṣaṃ hatvā gosahasreṇa mucyate | yathākathaṃcitpuruṣo na haṃtavyastato budhaiḥ
বীর পুরুষকে হত্যা করলে সহস্র গোর দান-প্রায়শ্চিত্তে পাপমোচন হয়। অতএব যেকোনো উপায়ে হলেও মানুষকে হত্যা করা উচিত নয়—এটাই জ্ঞানীদের সিদ্ধান্ত।
