iti śrutvā rudravākyaṃ skaṃdaḥ prīto'bhavadbhṛśam | devāśca muditāḥ sarve sādhusādhviti te jaguḥ
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (narration reporting the reaction)
Scene: A celestial assembly: Rudra has spoken; Skanda (youthful, spear-bearing) shows radiant delight; devas raise hands in acclamation, chanting ‘sādhu sādhu’.
True dharmic teaching is confirmed by the joy of the wise and the gods—devotion and tīrtha-observance are celebrated as authoritative paths.
The same Kapāleśvara/Śakticchidra tīrtha complex whose greatness Rudra has just proclaimed.
No new prescription; this verse records the approval of Rudra’s earlier instructions.
