निःसृत्य जलकल्लोलपूर्विका स्कंदमाययौ । स च संताडितः शक्त्या विभिन्नहृदयोसुरः । नादयन्वसुधां सर्वां पपातायोमुखो मृतः
niḥsṛtya jalakallolapūrvikā skaṃdamāyayau | sa ca saṃtāḍitaḥ śaktyā vibhinnahṛdayosuraḥ | nādayanvasudhāṃ sarvāṃ papātāyomukho mṛtaḥ
জলতরঙ্গের মতো উচ্ছ্বসিত হয়ে অয়োমুখ স্কন্দের দিকে ধাবিত হল। কিন্তু শক্তির আঘাতে অসুরের হৃদয় বিদীর্ণ হলো; সমগ্র পৃথিবীকে নিনাদিত করে অয়োমুখ পতিত হয়ে মৃত্যুবরণ করল।
