कृत्वैतन्नश्यते कीर्तिर्यावदाचंद्रतारकम् । एवं संचिंत्य बहुधा गत्वा चैव वनांतरम्
kṛtvaitannaśyate kīrtiryāvadācaṃdratārakam | evaṃ saṃciṃtya bahudhā gatvā caiva vanāṃtaram
“আমি যদি এ কাজ করি, তবে চন্দ্র-তারার মতো দীর্ঘস্থায়ী আমার শুভখ্যাতি নষ্ট হবে।” এভাবে বারংবার চিন্তা করে সে অরণ্যের গভীরে প্রবেশ করল।
