नानाश्चर्यगुणाधारः प्रतीहारो मतोंऽबिके । देव्युवाच । ईदृशस्य सुतस्यापि ममोऽकंठा पुरांतक
nānāścaryaguṇādhāraḥ pratīhāro matoṃ'bike | devyuvāca | īdṛśasya sutasyāpi mamo'kaṃṭhā purāṃtaka
হে অম্বিকে, সে নানা আশ্চর্য গুণের আধার এবং প্রতিহারী (দ্বাররক্ষক) বলে গণ্য। দেবী বললেন—হে পুরান্তক, এমন পুত্রের জন্যও আমার আকাঙ্ক্ষা কণ্ঠ পর্যন্ত উথলে ওঠে।
