dhanadaṃ caiva saptyā varuṇaṃ ca tathāṣṭabhiḥ | viṃśatyā nirṛtiṃ daityaḥ punaścāṣṭabhireva ca

দৈত্য ধনদ (কুবের)কে সাতটি শর, বরুণকে আটটি; নিরৃতিকে বিশটি শর দিয়ে বিদ্ধ করল, এবং আবার আটটি শরও নিক্ষেপ করল।
