tvayā divodāsa nareṃdravaryaḥ sadūpadeśaiśca tathopadiṣṭaḥ | yathā sa siddhiṃ paramāmavāpa samīhitaṃ me nikhilaṃ ca siddham
Śiva (continuing address to Viṣṇu; deduced)
Tirtha: Kāśī (Avimukta-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva (or the addressed deity) recalls Divodāsa’s transformation through excellent counsel; a split-scene could show the king receiving instruction and later attaining success, while the divine speaker affirms completed intentions.
Right counsel aligned with dharma leads to supreme success; even kings prosper when guided by divine wisdom rather than mere power.
Kāśī, through the remembered narrative of King Divodāsa—an important figure in Kāśī’s purāṇic sacred history.
No explicit ritual; the verse emphasizes sat-upadeśa (righteous instruction) and the fruition of divinely guided intention.
