स्कंद उवाच । सत्यमेतत्त्वया पृच्छि कथयामि मुने शृणु । तस्य व्यासस्य चरितं भविष्यं त्वयि पृच्छति
skaṃda uvāca | satyametattvayā pṛcchi kathayāmi mune śṛṇu | tasya vyāsasya caritaṃ bhaviṣyaṃ tvayi pṛcchati
স্কন্দ বললেন—তুমি যা জিজ্ঞেস করেছ তা সত্য ও যথাযথ। হে মুনি, শোনো—আমি বলছি; তোমার প্রশ্ন অনুসারে ব্যাসের চরিত বর্ণনা করব।
