व्यास उवाच । शृणु सूत महाबुद्धे यथा स्कंदेन भाषितम् । भविष्यं मम तस्याग्रे कुंभयोने महामते
vyāsa uvāca | śṛṇu sūta mahābuddhe yathā skaṃdena bhāṣitam | bhaviṣyaṃ mama tasyāgre kuṃbhayone mahāmate
ব্যাস বললেন—হে মহাবুদ্ধি সূত, স্কন্দ যেমন বলেছেন তেমনই শোন। আর সেই মহামতি কুম্ভযোনি (অগস্ত্য)-র সম্মুখে আমার বিষয়ে যে ভবিষ্যৎ বলা হয়েছে, তাও শোন।
