न दानानि न वै यज्ञा न तपांसि व्रतानि च । शंभोः प्रसादहेतूनि कारणं तत्कृपैव हि
na dānāni na vai yajñā na tapāṃsi vratāni ca | śaṃbhoḥ prasādahetūni kāraṇaṃ tatkṛpaiva hi
না দান, না যজ্ঞ, না তপ, না ব্রত—এসব শম্ভুর প্রসাদের প্রকৃত কারণ নয়; সেই অনুগ্রহের কারণ একমাত্র তাঁর করুণাই।
