विषमेक्षण पादाब्जं समीक्षिष्ये यदा पुनः । तदांबुविप्रुषमपि भक्षयिष्यामि चेत्यहो
viṣamekṣaṇa pādābjaṃ samīkṣiṣye yadā punaḥ | tadāṃbuvipruṣamapi bhakṣayiṣyāmi cetyaho
“যখন আমি পুনরায় বিষমেক্ষণ শিবের পদপদ্ম দর্শন করব, তখনই—তখনই—জলের এক বিন্দুও গ্রহণ করব!”—এই বলে সে ঘোষণা করল।
