ज्येष्ठस्थानं ततः काश्यां तदाभूदपि पुण्यदम् । तत्र लिंगं समभवत्स्वयं ज्येष्ठेश्वराभिधम्
jyeṣṭhasthānaṃ tataḥ kāśyāṃ tadābhūdapi puṇyadam | tatra liṃgaṃ samabhavatsvayaṃ jyeṣṭheśvarābhidham
তখন কাশীতে ‘জ্যেষ্ঠস্থান’ নামে এক পরম পুণ্যদায়ক তীর্থ প্রকাশ পেল। সেখানে স্বয়ম্ভূ লিঙ্গ আবির্ভূত হল, যা ‘জ্যেষ্ঠেশ্বর’ নামে প্রসিদ্ধ।
