Transliteration

prayāgeśaṃ mahāliṃgaṃ tatra tiṣṭhati kāmadam | tatsānnidhyācca tattīrthaṃ kāmadaṃ parikīrtitam

Translation

সেখানে প্রয়াগেশ নামে মহালিঙ্গ প্রতিষ্ঠিত, যিনি কামনা-সিদ্ধিদাতা। তাঁর পবিত্র সান্নিধ্যের ফলে সেই তীর্থও ‘কামদ’ (ইচ্ছাপূরক) নামে প্রসিদ্ধ।
