अश्वत्थ सेवा न कृता त्यक्त्वा चार्कं त्रयोदशीम् । सद्यः पापहरा सा हि न रात्रौ न भृगोर्दिने
aśvattha sevā na kṛtā tyaktvā cārkaṃ trayodaśīm | sadyaḥ pāpaharā sā hi na rātrau na bhṛgordine
আমি অশ্বত্থের সেবা করিনি এবং অর্ক-ত্রয়োদশী ব্রতও ত্যাগ করেছি। তা তো তৎক্ষণাৎ পাপহরিণী; কিন্তু আমি না রাত্রে, না ভৃগুবারে (শুক্রবারে) তা করেছি।
