कृतांतरायो न पठेद्भेकाखु श्वाहि बभ्रुभिः । भूताष्टम्योः पंचदश्योर्ब्रह्मचारी सदा भवेत्
kṛtāṃtarāyo na paṭhedbhekākhu śvāhi babhrubhiḥ | bhūtāṣṭamyoḥ paṃcadaśyorbrahmacārī sadā bhavet
বিঘ্ন ঘটলে ব্যাঙ, ইঁদুর, কুকুর, সাপ ও নকুলের মধ্যে পাঠ করা উচিত নয়। ভূতা ও অষ্টমী তিথিতে এবং পঞ্চদশীতে ব্রহ্মচারীকে সর্বদা ব্রহ্মচর্যে স্থিত থাকতে হয়।
